Terms of Service

1. Important Notice — What Elara Is and Is Not

Elara Dental Ltd ("Elara", "we", "us") is a patient coordination and referral service registered in England and Wales. We are not a dental practice, dental clinic, or regulated healthcare provider. We do not provide clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

All dental treatment is carried out exclusively by independent partner clinics registered with their respective national dental authorities. Elara acts as a coordinator and intermediary between patients and those partner clinics.

2. Our Services

Elara provides the following services to patients:

  • Free preliminary clinical assessment of submitted dental photos by qualified dentists
  • Matching patients with vetted partner clinics based on treatment needs, budget, and destination preference
  • Coordination of travel logistics, clinic appointments, and communication
  • Issuance of ELARA Treatment Passport upon completion of treatment
  • Access to UK partner aftercare dentist network
  • Administration of the ELARA 3-year treatment guarantee

3. Deposit and Payment Terms

A deposit is required to secure your clinic booking. The deposit amount will be clearly communicated before you commit. Deposits are held by Elara and deducted from your total treatment cost.

Cancellation: If you cancel more than 14 days before your scheduled treatment date, your deposit is fully refunded. Cancellations within 14 days may be subject to a rebooking fee of up to £150, at Elara's discretion.

Remaining treatment costs are paid directly to the clinic in accordance with their payment terms, which Elara will communicate to you in advance.

4. The ELARA 3-Year Guarantee

Elara offers a 3-year clinical guarantee on coordinated treatments. Full terms are set out in our Guarantee Terms. In summary:

  • If your treatment requires clinical correction within 3 years, Elara will coordinate and fund your return travel to the treating clinic
  • The guarantee covers clinical failures attributable to the treating clinic, not failures resulting from patient non-compliance with aftercare instructions
  • The guarantee is administered by Elara, not the clinic, and is backed by Elara commercially

5. Limitations of Liability

Elara's liability to you in connection with our coordination services is limited to the coordination fee paid to Elara (not the total treatment cost). Elara is not liable for clinical outcomes, which are the sole responsibility of the treating clinic.

Elara does not accept liability for: travel disruption, accommodation issues, or any consequential losses arising from treatment complications beyond the scope of our guarantee.

6. Your Responsibilities

By using Elara's services, you confirm that: you are 18 years of age or older; the information you provide is accurate; you will follow all pre and post-treatment instructions provided by the treating clinic; and you have disclosed all relevant medical history to the treating dentist.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
